You’re definitely improving and I’m glad I’m seeing that. I think what you should do is lessen the reverb on the bass. Email me a video of you deconstructing the song because I would like to see how you made it. I can definitely tell you spent a week on this and it certainly paid off.

The sound design was good along with dubstep growls. Along with the mixing. But this song in some places in the beginning were off key. You need to make sure the notes are in the scale you’re using for the song. Besides that it was pretty good.

I don’t usually listen to synthwave so I don’t really know where to start. I thought that beginning was cool. I think maybe a bit of reverb would be nice. I think that lead synth has too much release. As the song continues to progress I feel sounds are clashing with each other. The music theory becomes a bit off as it progresses. The melodies are still really cool. I can tell you put effort into this. I think that the melodies are really cool and creative. But I think your mixing is not good. I can tell you three on a compressor which I don’t think helps. I think what you need to do is maybe learn a bit more about mixing and I think your songs will be a lot better.

I know mixing is the one thing I'm still getting the hang of, since I do this kind of stuff on my spare time I rarely have the time to sit down and study it, but I'm definitely taking it into account and working to make better shit in the future. Very calm and sweet beginning. I think the kick needs less high end and more low end. I think the 808 shouldn’t slide. It just doesn’t fit too well when it slides. The middle of the song is pretty cool. The buildup is very nice. The drop is very groovy and makes me want to bounce around. I think the drop would be a good place for the 808 to slide. The outro is very nice. Overall I think the kick and the 808 didn’t work in certain parts. Your production was good and your mixing was great. Good job!

And, yeah, I know that the kick has too much high end to fit with the instruments, and there was not any 808, it was just a regular sub bass btw xD

I mean for your first song it's not so bad. But there are a lot of problems. A lot of the notes are off scale and key. The production isn't so good. I also feel some parts a bit random. But I like how you experimented with the percussion. Overall not bad for your first song.

Yeah, this song was just one big experiment altogether. I messed it up with that new part that wasn't in the WIP version, and I shouldn't have added in that bass in the techno part. It's just kind of hard when you can only use the free version of Soundtrap to make music. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
